I’m using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and I really appreciate the new Galaxy AI and Writing Assist features. However, I noticed that Amharic (Ethiopian) is not available as a language pack.
I would like to request the addition of Amharic and other major Ethiopian languages to the supported language list, especially for features like Writing Assist, Chat Assist, and translation. These languages are widely used, and many users like myself would benefit from native support for typing assistance, translation, and tone suggestions.
Please consider adding this to the roadmap. I’m sure many users from Ethiopia and the Ethiopian diaspora would appreciate it.

To assist you further, please try the following steps: 1. Open Settings and select General management. 2. Choose Language. 3. Choose the language you want to set as the default. 4. Tap Apply to confirm, and the selected language will become the default language on your phone.
Kindly note that Ethiopianlanguage support depends on the mobile copy. Please share your IMEI number by navigating to Settings > About Phone > IMEI 1, so we can assist you more effectively.
Hi, i am not looking for the full phone language as its not my mother toungue language, but the language is needed for the auto translation of messages and chats with my helper / house maids, please find as requested the IMEI ( 353501840325856 ) please support me as i need this feature badly, thanks alot and apologies for late response as I didnt get notification that u responded
