Galaxy Z FoldThat seems unusual 🤔. Please try these quick fixes:
1. Clear cache partition – Turn off the phone > press and hold Power + Volume Up until recovery menu > select Wipe cache partition.
2. Update all apps from Galaxy Store & Play Store (sometimes apps conflict after updates).
3. Safe Mode check – Restart in Safe Mode (press and hold Power off > tap Safe Mode) and see if it still shuts down. If not, a 3rd-party app may be causing the issue.
4. Software update – Ensure you’re on the latest patch, Samsung sometimes releases hotfixes after major updates.
5. If it continues, back up your data and perform a factory reset.
If none of these help, I’d recommend visiting a Samsung Service Center as it could be a hardware/firmware issue specific to your device.

Galaxy Z FoldThanks for the update. Great observation! Since the phone shuts down when the volume button is pressed, it points to a possible hardware fault (stuck or shorted button) rather than software.
Here are a few steps you can try:
1. Check for debris/dust – Sometimes dirt near the volume key can cause it to stick.
2. Press the button multiple times to see if it loosens.
3. If the issue persists, it’s best to visit a Samsung Service Center – they can inspect and replace the button if needed.
It’s definitely not normal behavior, and since you already tried most software fixes, hardware service will be the safest solution.
