I had my FLIP 4 for a little over two years. Under normal use, with extra care especially on the screen and good casing.
Recently, the phone starts to shutdown when closed. Restarting is needed every time you open it. I checked online and found out that it is a common problem with these type of phone which requires replacement of the flexible power cable(?).
I inquired from Samsung authorized service center and they qoute to replace for almost 500 USD. The price of the spare is ridiculous. The technician admitted that it is a common issue with these phone. Knowing it as a common issue, why not Samsung made this part more affordable.
I refuse to pay this amount. My flip phone is now a regular non-flip phone. Definitely, this will be my last flip or fold ever.
If you still want to buy it, you have been warned.
