Hello, Everyone!
Has anyone faced or experienced similar issue explained and found a solution?
It's regarding the Samsung Max VPN App.
I have used it several times so that I can protect my identity for the sake of security. I Upgrade the Plan to Premium, Wi-Fi and Mobile Protection turned ON and now the new Feature, Location of your choice which is Automatic for this plan. It works fine for some time but in between, I'm not able to access the internet for some time until I put OFF the Samsung Max VPN manually if I need the internet right away. It starts working fine again after some time withoutturning it OFF. But the internet starts working immediately after turning it OFF. If I put it ON again, it will work but again the same problem in between. Even simple WhatsApp message like "Hi" is not getting delivered when this happens. Even the Mobile Data as well as Wi-Fi Speed is little slower when compared with Samsung Max VPN OFF. I'm getting a speed of + or - 15 Mbps with a Ping or Latency of 50+ ms for Mobile Data or Wi-Fi normally without making use of Samsung Max VPN or turned OFF, and a speed of + or - 11 Mbps with a Ping or Latency of 450+ ms with Samsung Max VPN ON. I have tested the same several times when the above mentioned problem occur and turning the Samsung Max VPN solves the issue. Because of this, I have stopped using the Samsung Max VPN App for a while now but I want to use it because of security. I even tried Force stopping the App and clearing it's storage, that is, Cache and Data, but still the issue persists. Do anyone know the solution for the same?
Thank you!

Hello!

It sounds like you've been having a frustrating experience with Samsung Max VPN. The issue you’re describing, where the internet slows down or becomes inaccessible while the VPN is on, is something others have experienced too. Here’s what might be happening:

1. **Server Congestion**: Sometimes, the VPN servers can get crowded, leading to slow speeds or intermittent connectivity. This could explain why your internet works fine when the VPN is off but slows down or cuts out when it’s on.

2. **High Latency**: The high ping or latency you’re seeing with the VPN on suggests that the data is taking longer to travel between your device and the server. This is common with VPNs, especially if the server is far away or under heavy load.

3. **Automatic Location Feature**: The automatic location selection might not always pick the best server for speed. You could try manually selecting a server closer to your physical location to see if that improves things.

4. **VPN Settings**: Sometimes, tweaking the settings, like switching the VPN protocol (if that option is available), might help stabilize the connection.

Unfortunately, Samsung Max VPN is more focused on privacy and data-saving features, so it may not be as robust as other premium VPNs when it comes to maintaining consistent speeds.

If this continues to be a major issue, you might want to consider using a different VPN service known for more stable performance, especially for continuous use. But if you’re set on sticking with Samsung Max, manually toggling the server location or trying different network settings might provide some temporary relief.

Hope this helps!
