why S8+ front IR blaster turns on every now and then

I just he noticed yesterday when I was taking photo of my phone with another camera. The front IR blaster turns on automatically every few seconds like 30 seconds, stay on for about 7-10 seconds and then turn off.
It is not visible to naked eye but if you point a camera at it, you can see it in the camera.
For those who say this is the notification LED, it is not. Notification LED is separate on the left of this.

I'm not using iris scanning nor using facial recognition.
Why is this IR blaster turning on randomly without any use or purpose?

Brother, as I mentioned earlier it's not the notification led. The led is separate and is on the far left side.
Another thing I mentioned is that this light is not visible to naked eye, only a camera can see it.
