what is your trade-in experience?

i just got my s26 ultra last launched and went with a trade-in option fpr an s24 ultra 512gb. my trade-in value is 1,960 aed. when agent came he checked,told me my unit has some scratches after taking a lot of time checking the corners and edges of my phone. then told me the value will be will be reduced and i need to pay 370 aed. then he gave me a suggestion to cancel my trade-in application in the system and that he'd pay me upfront the amount of 1,560. for me ,as a customer i would think something is fishy. my phone was in excellent condition. yes ,its a 2 year phone but always have case protection when used.so i wonder why a agent would ask to just cancel the trade in in the system and he will give me the payment in cash. that would mean i have to refund.that amount via my card. weird.

Please do not accept such suggestions. Always ask them to give to any change or explanation in writing via email only.

You can get 1600-1800 yourself if you decide to sell on other online platforms. Why give it for 1560 then to this guy?
