Won't say battery drain but the battery is definitely reduced from Pie, even the Beta used to be a bit better in battery life...I guess battery management is not ideal within the OS itself. Samsung can handle it better, i was expecting a fix but it seems Samsung is just patching the security with a 106MB update to the S9(only).. Fingers crossed maybe Only S9+ has this issue of battery drain.. And My S9+ is an Exynos Indian unit, and didn't recieve any updates after the Stable One UI 2..But they're rolling out March security update to s9, so expect it soon for your device as well..
If they choose to update the security only, maybe I will try to tweek some settings or go for a reset as I expect the battery to perform a bit better..
