The point is that for flagships the company can't mess up with the updates, even if it takes time but still they will try to squash most of the bugs and then release it to the masses without causing any disruption.
If you were following news about M30 updates, many people are facing issues.. Samsung did provide a patch after 2 weeks but it's painful to use a device that lags frequently, camera crashes while opening and battery draining fast.
So be patient, they are just making sure that the flagship users don't have to go through all this because that will bring them flak.
