1 try not to drop the phone it will damage the phone and compromise the water resistance 

2 use proper screen guard 

3 always use the case 

4 try not put always in water 

5  don't take your phone to swimming pool and to sea or water park because in these area the water contains acid which is excreted from human body that is why we feel eyes burn if our eyes burns then think what will do to the phones it can destroy the rubber seals 

6 no coke no chemical test it can also destroy the rubber seals 

7 no freeze test can crack or scratch the glass 

8 your phone is a tool not a bathtub toy

9 protect phone from hot waters as well
