I just got a s20+ (sm g986u1)

It's from dubai and when I check for software update it stats that it's on the latest update.

What's the problem?

the thing is the phone is on Android 10 and one ui 2.1
the latest is either 2.5/3.0 with Android 11 and Dec 2020/ jan 2021 updates

oh for s20+ there are new updates.
so you can update it with smart switch or go to store.

Oh, you are in an old version, can you chrck for updates using Samsung switch, there is an inbuilt updater in the application

Dude, you samsung switch applications. You need to install it in Pc. When you connect your phone and open that application in pc. It will show restore and backup option, and in top side there is a update status. You will see an update if its available. Can you check and let me know. Samsung smart switch pc version

yes checked it on smart switch using pc. it says the device is up to date.

i think dubai version hasn't been updated, might need to manually update the device.
