shutter speed limit 10 sec in pro mode on s9 plus camera ?

why is shutter speed limited to 10sec in pro mode for S9 plus camera ? while others like Huawei, OnePlus are allowing upto 30 sec . 10sec is not enough for some night photography. Zero Camera Mod allows custom shutter speed but that requires root. Even my previous Moto g4 plus allowed custom shutter speed and more 60sec was possible without errors.
