screen resolution low as compare to s6 edge

my pervious device was S6 edge whenever i wanna watch video on youtube i select 1440pixel resolution. But in my S7 there is only option one higher option is 1080 not more then that. why it is so. i spend more money to get better display but it was not. why

not all videos on youtube are 2k or 4k.

it may be because video you choose only supports 1080p

And make sure your sceen resolution is in WQHD 2K.
