Hi Humbled
That’s an unusual but legitimate Samsung security feature message — not a virus or glitch. Let me explain clearly what’s happening on your S21 FE 5G 👇

🔒 What “Security Delay in Progress” Means

This message usually appears after:

You changed your Samsung account password recently,

Or you removed/re-added your Samsung account,

Or reset security features (like Find My Mobile, 2-step verification, etc.).

Samsung temporarily locks down sensitive features for a few hours (sometimes up to 72 hours) to protect your device from unauthorized access — especially if someone tries to disable security or factory reset it without your permission.

📲 The Circle Animation

The circle you’re seeing is simply a progress indicator. It means the system countdown (“security delay”) is active. Once it ends, you’ll get a notification saying that you can now “turn off identity check” or access the restricted security setting again.

What You Can Do

You don’t need to take any action — just wait for the delay to finish. In the meantime:

Keep your device connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Don’t try to remove your Samsung account or reset the phone. Doing so can restart the timer.

When the delay ends, you’ll get a notification, and everything returns to normal.

🧠 Why Samsung Does This

It’s a theft-prevention system, similar to Google’s “Factory Reset Protection.” It ensures that if someone steals your phone, they can’t just reset it and remove your identity check right away.
