Galaxy S(TO WIPE CACHE PARTITION: Switch off your phone. Press and hold, power key and volume up key for 4-5 seconds till the phone turn on. You will reach the recovery mode.
Use your volume keys to navigate to 'wipe cache partition.' Use power key to select and confirm. Then reboot your device.
Normally this will not erase any of your personal data or settings.)

Please note that after an update, there is some background configuration that is happening. We recommend that after an update to wait for at least 1-2 hours to finish the background configuration because if not, heating up may happen. If after that and the phone still drains fast and heating up, then better to come to the nearest service center for the reloading of the software.
