Not sure after which update it happened, but now quality of video is drastically dropping if we switch to super steady ois. Not sure if this hardware is really incorporated in camera or it's just software processed. The main reason to buy this phone is camera and day by day it's utterly disappointing me. Samsung request you to address user issues and retain your valuable customers else we had no other option but switching to Nokia/LG the only things with poor customer base and rich quality phones.

Super steady mode uses EIS with ultra wide camera which is then cropped to get stable footage. Ultra wide camera has fixed focus which is why videos look very bad. This is how Samsung has implemented this feature on many phones. Inbuilt OIS only works on main camera sensor. OIS is hardware and is always on. So don't use super steady mode which is a software gimmick. Rather record using just main camera which will give you better results.
