Hi keithjack
When your S Pen on the Galaxy S22 Ultra isn’t connecting for Air Actions, it usually means there’s a pairing or Bluetooth issue. Follow these steps carefully:

---

🧭 Step 1: Basic Checks

1. Insert the S Pen fully into its slot and leave it there for about 20–30 seconds — this allows the phone to recharge and reconnect it.

2. Ensure Bluetooth is ON →

Go to Settings ▸ Connections ▸ Bluetooth → make sure it’s enabled.

3. Battery: The S Pen needs charge for Air Actions (the pen charges in the slot).

---

🔄 Step 2: Reconnect the S Pen Manually

1. Go to Settings ▸ Advanced features ▸ S Pen ▸ Air actions.

2. Tap “•••” (More options) at the top right → choose “Reset S Pen” or “Reconnect S Pen”.

3. Wait for it to pair — you’ll see “Connected” once successful.

(Tip: keep the pen close to the phone while reconnecting.)

---

⚙️ Step 3: Reset S Pen Settings (if still not connecting)

1. Go to Settings ▸ Advanced features ▸ S Pen ▸ Air actions.

2. Tap More options ▸ Reset S Pen → confirm.

3. Reinsert the pen and wait for it to reconnect.

---

🔋 Step 4: Check for Updates

Go to Settings ▸ Software update ▸ Download and install — sometimes firmware updates fix Bluetooth/S Pen bugs.

Also check Galaxy Store ▸ Updates ▸ Air command / S Pen Air Actions plug-in — update if available.

---

🧼 Step 5: Try Safe Mode (optional)

Boot in Safe Mode to rule out third-party interference:

1. Press and hold Power key → tap and hold “Power off” → choose “Safe mode”.

2. Test Air Actions.
If it works in Safe Mode, an app is interfering — restart normally and uninstall recent or battery-optimization apps.

---

🧩 Step 6: Physical S Pen Check

If none of the above works:

Make sure you’re using the original S22 Ultra S Pen (other S Pens won’t connect for Air Actions).

If you replaced the S Pen recently, it might not be Bluetooth-compatible.
