Dear team, i bought my S10+ in May 2019. Till now i haven't dropped it. Last day i dropped it from a height of 10cm. My corning gorilla glass 6 dispay got a crack. And now the service center is asking me to pay INR 17000 for the replace. How come this happen? Are gorilla glass 6 present in s10+? Can't it withstand a 10cm height? Samsung can't you please repair me free of cost? Do money don't have value?
your perfect broke ,and it will be not genuine all say that , but think technically your amoled display is not broken only the glass is broken .and to pay 17000 for glass is not wright it is just a glass there will be no difference we all put protection glass from market which is not samsung brand ,
Where are you based ?, If in Mumbai, visit Manish Market, there are shops in which they replace the broken glass retaining the inner digitizer at 1/4 of the cost.
First of all GORILLA means scratch prevention is good that does not mean its not fragile
it seems a little distance but impact may be big . 1 mtr diatance could not break the phone glass sometimes cause of impact .. impact does not depend on distance . it is how it fell on surface
In Samsung device Gorilla glass provided is scratch resistance, not scratch proof. In case your device is physically damage, it will not be covered as under warranty as per Samsung policy.
