phone overheating

My galaxy s7 edge duos jas recently started overheating and tge battery draining fast. I have done device maintenance to try and close all background apps but that doesnt seem to help. Any suggestions?

There might be some problem on the battery. I recommend get it checked on nearby samsung stores

that is because the new android nougat update drains alot of the battery
