Received one ui 3.1 update today on my s20 plus.
But surprisingly seen call background feature is missing in this update
Is it because of inferior hardware of handset or any strategy
This is never expected from Samsung at least for Premium series users
Why we should pay more for these handset if they are providing proper updates
I'm strongly disappointed 😞

Bro I'm living in same world where we are talking about 3.1 & not on features of ui 3.
If u have explored ui3.1 properly then u will come to know the missing feature after update s20 series from one UI 3 to one UI3.1
Please checat your end before concluding.

I agree with you. I spent £1400 on the S20 Ultra and the updates are barley there.

I'm missing the Google discover so will continue to use Nova Launcher. There is no Google messages app optimised for One ui so I will have to continue to use the one from the Play Store. There is no video call background effects and the camera modes are missing.

I understand that hardware limitations can effect updates but there is no reason why these features should be missing.

In Samsung eyes, people might be able to spend £1400 on a new device every year for a few features but I can't do that.

I think this will be the last Samsung product I buy, simply because of their business modal. Apple don't do this to their fan base, or Google with their Pixel devices so I will be slowly moving away from the brand I used to love, mobiles, tv's, Galaxy watch, etc.

The only thing I think Samsung has given us is the ability to remove something from a photo, the rest of the stuff is built in to Android, like Google home in the devices tab.
