You have two choices.
1. Using pop-up view.
Press the recents button. (button next to the home button) Then click on the app icon at the top of your preferred app. Then click on 'open in pop-up view'.Here you can deal with even more than two apps at a time.
2. Using split screen view.
Repeat the same procedures but click on 'open in split- screen view'.
Then click on the second app you want to use.
Add On:
Goto settings > Advanced features> smart pop-up view.
And turn on smart pop-up for your preferred apps and feel the comfort while arriving notifications.
