incoming calls not showing numbers or contacts

My S20 Ultra is not showing names of contacts for incoming calls but picks the contact names for outgoing calls. What could be the problem?

*(BUMP) Very late reply I know, and not helpful to most, but after reading that I had to sign in and say at least you were lucky and saw numbers coming through. The article isn't about losing your contacts buddy... it's about ANY and ALL calls saying UNKNOWN NUMBER... as in there's nada, zilch not even "Hey who's trying to call me from 012 555 5555? Just UNKNOWN...

Now, hopefully by the time I get to the end of this thread, considering it goes back from semi-recently to 2 years, I hope to find the solution to my kid's Samsung woes. If not, I'll find it and post back here, well... for future users, most of you probably upgraded by now...

Anyways... good luck if you're still out there struggling on New Samsungs.

I'm also having issues with my samsung a30s all incoming calls are coming through as unknown..I have called MTN for more than a month now, my caller line identification is enabled but they can't help me with my issue
