Hi there,

I am a Samsung S 10 plus user. I searched for the google assistant app in the play store, but there was a note that says (your device isn't compatible with this version). What does that mean?. I also tried using bixby as an alternative, but I really don't like it. Google assistant is not that good either, but it's better. To be honest they are both not like Siri in the IOS/iPhone which works better (not perfect though). I'm just wondering if I will be able to download google assistant for my phone or this will not be possible?.

P.s: My phone is up to date

do you have the google app? that's the one you need. once you download that (if you don't have it)open it and go to settings then set up the assistant from there. it's not a separate app for the assistant

Google assistance app is only for pixel users, sadly it will take time to be compatible with samsung phones.
