Is the 5G capability is there in that phone ?

Is there any news about arrival of 5G in india? I mean I do not see any point in launching 5G phones before 5G spectrum is at least sold in the market. 

Sure a lot of us would keep our phones for at least 2-3 years but it seems unlikely that 5G would become a thing in India in that time period. 

So including 5G support right now even on top of the line phones is only going to increase its pricing while providing absolutely zero value to customer. 

Though I do believe that Realme launched a 5G phone in India this week? Saw something on Twitter. Seems more like a PR exercise than anything that would be of any use to anyone for 2-3 years.

r u trying to say that if technology doesn't come or upgrade in india 5g phone is of no use.... even the 4g in india is too slow and no stability in signals but the providers are big players in the world of telecom

what pr exercise. if you are pricing the same as us and making in india so no custom duty like apple. so why in the world would they launch and inferior product into the country.

why only provide 8gb version not 12gb like us for same price and why not provide 5g like oneplus is doing. or is it becoz we use only 8gb today so no use of 12 gb , like ur argument.

unless they are trying to rip their loyal customer in india thinking them as dumb. and people like you defending them. already they don't provide even 30% of exchange value for their 2 year old flagship ,who would buy a 4g phone after 3 year.

so stop defending this fraudulent business practice of theirs.

Samsung has two variants of s20 series...in india Non 5g variant is being sold..Samsung can launch 5g phones even now..but bcoz India doest have 5g support...so no point in being launching 5G capable phones..5G variants of s20 series have 12gb RAM..Indian LTE versions have 8gb Ram..

they should have brought 5g like oneplus ia doing. if ur pricing the same as us & not paying any custom duty like apple. their is no point of launching a inferior phone. no body is going to buy a 4g phone after 3 years as already they don't give a penny's worth for their 2yr old flagships. & what about 8gb vs 12 is it becoz we are using only 8gb today ao we don't need 12.
