Do one thing turn on safe mode of your phone by holding the power button and then tap and hold down the red power off button on the screen for 3 to 4 sec and turn it on. it will restart and after 10 sec you get a notification to turn it off do it for further improvement in your phone

turn the phone off and try restarting the phone under safe mode and try again

remove tampered glass

check in safe mode first if problem persists
then reset your biometric print and re register carefully covering entire sensor
after registering make sure to restart system once
make sure screen is clean and dry no smudges or screen guard is there 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
else factory reset once should do the job

To resolve "fingerprint" issue kindly follow the given below steps:

 1)The device may not recognize fingerprints that are affected by wrinkles,
2)To improve recognition performance, register fingerprints of the hand used most often to perform tasks on the device.
3)Ensure that the screen protector or the touchscreen on the fingerprint recognition sensor area is not scratched or damaged by objects, such as coins, keys,pens,and necklaces.
4)Ensure that your fingers are clean and dry.
5)If you bend your finger or use a fingertip, the device may not recognize your fingerprints.Press the fingertip so that your fingertip spreads over the wide surface of the fingerprint recognition area.

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.
