battery drainage and high temperature

 Samsung,  #not worth the money,

All the flagships mobiles life is maximum 1 and a half year. 

I am samsung user since 2016. Purchased #S6 #S7 now S9. All these I found not worth of money. 

Now seriously thinking to switch. Leaving theSamsung pool. Lost 5 years and hard money is more than enough.

My S7 edge, S8+ and Note 9 is still running excellent. I replaced the battery for S7 and S8 and all is good. The battery health depends on your usage. Have you tried optimising the settings? I find it to help me in a great deal

sorry but my experience is totally different than yours.
I tried my level best to consider the Samsung by all the ways but failed.
and finally poted here my experience with responsibility.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note 4 is still with me in good working condition. I have a note 9 and Note 20 also with me. All are working fine.
