Nope. Trust me, idk about S7 edge. But the battery life for S7 is exactly the same. Samsung didn't fix that.

well then, the cell standby isn't a problem to be honest, i just switch to 2G whenever i don't feel like using the 4G, and it's all good.

Yea, I noticed that. Basically the battery life on S7 is network dependent. I charged my phone to 100%, and then turned the data off & also the wifi. The device was idle for more than 3 hours, and then the battery was still 100%. That was insane.
