So I switched from Vodafone to airtel hoping that I will be able to use WiFi calling but unfortunately its not working. I don't seem to have any issues with Jio whatsoever. Please look it to this and I'm hoping for update soon.

talk to the Airtel people and make them understand. this is not a fault of Samsung. as wifi calling is working with Jio, it's not the phone's fault

Bro which phone you are currently using with?
Since Airtel has made the compatibility to only few devices and we have to wait for it to get effective in as many phones as possible...

Contact Airtel to check your location supports airtel WiFi calling.

in most of the cities it does support.

Jio has wider coverage in that aspect as it launched before Airtel WiFi calling.

(as others stated)

- moreover

Mumbai is getting Carrier Aggregation with Airtel .
Faster data speeds 🙂
