after updating my galaxy s7 edge. i cannot answer incoming calls. any idea what could be wrong

format your device. but before doing that. back up your data first.

this can be a software issue. so after updating your device and you encountered such things like that you must format it or go to samsung service centre to re-flash the latest operating system of your device.

Try to wipe data for phone app in application manager, wipe caches, reboot ur phone... If still, consider a factory reset then
