If you want to save battery, enable it.
But it will impact your phone performance.

by this option you no need to do manually on power saving or other things, it will automatically change according to ur uses, battery percentage

One negative part in adaptive. Actually sometimes it will switch back to 60hz in some cases where power saving mode turns on. So a 120hz will notice the lag

it is not negative actually it is a part of adaptive power, and its depends on user like it also turn of aod but i excluded the aod part from power saving so when my mobile turn to power saving then my aod remained same
and if once it turn off then can be enable manually

Better not to use it. If you always on 120hz. This feature turns on battery saving at some areas. So refresh rate switch to 60hz. So always on 120hz user will know lag. It useful to save extra battery. I wont recommend it
Galaxy S
I personally like it disabled..as there is no point because sometime it hampers day to day task and notifications..anyways it won't going to make any gigantic change in battery life..
