Facial Recognition is at the worse
Finger print scanner never been ever useful 
Applications perfomance are so sluggish

This is no way a good product anymore

clear cache and check first in safe mode whether problem stays else take factory reset

shutdown background apps make sure network devices as wifi mobile data NFC bluetooth no 2 should work together re-registration of biometrics is important do it carefully covering the sensor fully and at different angles

Kindly follow the below mentioned step to improve the performance of the device:

 

Check device in safe mode: Enter safe mode: Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears.>Press and hold the power off icon. Exist safe mode: Press volume down and power key simultaneously for 5 seconds to restart the device.

 

Note: If your device functions correctly in Safe Mode, it is most likely that the issue lies with a 3rd party application that can be uninstalled to resolve the problem.

 

If the issue still persists, kindly attach the log file and send it to us in the Samsung member application (Attach when the issue occurs within first 15 minutes of the occurrence of the issue):-
Samsung Members App > Feedback >Error report > Attach log file for any issue
