Environment was completely dark.

Lumia 1020 was launched in 2013 and still competes well with iPhone 12. It beats any 2021 smartphone in dark-light photography.

Xenon flash rocks! It can even freeze a running fan.

PureView technology rocks!

Nokia 9 PureView has everything except the most crucial Xenon flash. Every DSLR have Xenon flash but modern photography smartphones don't have it. Why?

Bro I still have my beloved 520. Also, Nokia should have designed the Lumia 1020 to recieve the Windowsphone 10 update. That could have boosted it's sale more. After my Lumia 1020 was stolen, I brought Nokia Lumia 920 and Microsoft Lumia 535. Waiting for my N8 eagerly ❤

Lol M30s doesn't even have full Pro mode to capture shots in darkness. And I know the meaning of complete darkness better than you. And talking about zoom, yes, photos can come out in good quality upto 5x zoom to 6x zoom, depending on the conditions.
