Yes this is the protocol fixed by samsung. You have to visit the centre for a inspection report. Then they will perform some tests on your phone like water test. If it fails then you will recieve a call from ceo desk again by saying they cannot accept your claim as your phone fails in watdr test. But you don't have to accept that because for your knowledge i want to make one point clear is that no phone is water-resistant after usage of 18 to 24 months. Samsung guidelines also contain this information. In order to make it water-resistant again, the glue part must be replaced. It's disgusting that we have to pay a significant amount for these phones.
But another thing is that Samsung cannot reject your claim just from that your phone does not pass the water test. As I already mentioned above.

No you dont have to pay inspection report fees also. Just tell them that you recieved a call from ceo desk and they suggested you to visit service centre for inspection report. They will generate. After that tell them to hold this inspection report for 2 to 3 days so that you can tell ceo desk that you have done this. After that if ceo accept your claim then you will pay inspection report amount as well as gst or service charges if you need to. Otherwise if they rejected your claim i.e. ceo desk then you can pay inspection report amount.
In my case they hold my report for 4 days and did not even ask for inspection report amount.

They will also inspect that your phone should not be damaged from anywhere. In my case there is smaill 1mm paint chip off from sides but it was due to usuage of 3 years 6 months. But was using cover from day 1. The paint was chip off because at that special point there was no cover. Thats why i stated them that it was due to non usuage of cover at that special point.
