Wifi direct issues

Hi guys, I'm using s10 lite, I can connect to a another Samsung phone via wifi direct but can not send/share  files from 'my files' by selecting a particular file and press share button, the option of wifi direct does not come, quick share comes, nearby share comes, Bluetooth, nfc etc etc but not wifi direct, then why is phone connecting to another phone thru wifi direct if I can't use it to share files, any thoughts ?!?
