Why delay in monthly security updates?

This has been ongoing for a long time...Samsung does not provide timely software or Security updates....

No more Samsung going forward...

There will be delay in all updates. Samsung have taken precautions against covid19 and send employees to home.

Completely agree...but Covid-19 is not the reason for a long time.. although i respect the decision this time..safety first

I think android 10 was the reason. At least you got it early. I just got last week. And now the update is rolled back due to bugs. Now I am not sure if I am lucky or cursed.

The question is still relevant and the problem cannot be Covid or any other such excuse. So, tell me: Why didn't I get the 1 Feb 2022 security update until 8 Mar 2022? That is what I would like to know. And it isn't just one time. It's been like that forever. I would like an explanation. My phone is a S20+, unlocked, US.
