Why Galaxy S8 is not getting security patches

Galaxy S8 didn't get security patch since August... and didn't even get any minor software update in October .. Why samsung is neglecting their FLAGSHIP ... if samsung can't keep their FLAGSHIP updated then they should close their smartphone divsion.. Apple is so much better in keeping their ALL devices update

P.S - I don't like apple devices in comparison with Galaxy(S)

True bro. Same position with S7 too. Didn't even get full update of Nougat 7.0 also. Security patch was last updated in August. I dont like apple because of too many limitations. But SAMSUNG is poor in giving updates.

But i believe that a majorr update is getting ready for these devices.... so they aren't giving any updates.

Samsung needs to rethink their strategy for flagship. No updates since months on 6 months old flagship is horrendous
