**Subject: Request for Free Screen Replacement Due to Software-Induced Issue After Latest Update on S23 Ultra**

 

Dear Samsung Customer Support,

 

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an issue I have encountered with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (12GB RAM/512GB storage). After the software update on 5th September 2024, a white line has appeared on the upper left edge of my phone’s screen. This issue is not isolated to my device, as numerous customers have reported the same problem online, indicating that this is a software-induced fault.

 

I purchased this phone for ₹140,000, and after only 17 months of use, I am now facing this significant issue, which is clearly a result of your latest software update. As this is not a hardware failure but a software-related problem, I should not be held liable for the repair costs.

 

I have already sent my device to your service center, and they have provided an estimate of ₹20,000 to replace the screen. However, considering that this issue arose from your software update, I strongly believe that I should not have to bear the cost of the repair. I kindly request that you replace the screen free of charge, as this issue falls under Samsung’s responsibility.

 

Please treat this as an urgent request and resolve the matter at the earliest. I am a loyal Samsung customer and expect a quick and fair resolution to this issue.

The issue could occur due to usage and various other factors, in case there is any kind of issue that occurs after the update then we are always helping our customers to resolve their issues.

However, as you have already visited the service center and they have guided you through the information regarding the part replacement after the physical inspection of your device. And, as for now, there is no FOC policy available for Samsung devices, So, the charges applicable to the repair which was already confirmed by the service team. They will provide you with original parts with genuine cost with a service invoice.

I also Got the same issue white line after update I think Samsung need to think about premium customer I think they update Phone Software to earn money so they can Take our hard Earned Money
