The Galaxy S23 One UI 7 update should arrive in February

Like every year, Samsung launched a beta program for the latest version of One UI. But, as far as the list of eligible devices is concerned, the company has broken protocol this time around.

The One UI 7 beta program debuted on the Galaxy S24 series in early December 2024 and Samsung has reportedly scrapped plans to allow beta access to owners of other Galaxy smartphones.

That's owing to Samsung's decision to keep One UI 7 in the proverbial oven for a longer-than-usual period. The upcoming Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra will be the first phones to run the stable version of One UI  7 and all existing Galaxy S smartphones are rumored to get it sometime in the second month of 2025.
