I bought the S24 Ultra phone for the camera but 6 months down the line Samsung still has this HORRIBLE post-processing on 50MP and 200MP photos. Very disappointed. My ancient Xiaomi takes better photos. Why can we not turn these things off? I don't want the phone to automatically jack up everything and turn the photo into a mess.

The best thing you can do for now is set the intelligent optimization to minimum, that practically turns it off.

I read online about that and that it helps some people but I've turned off all of those settings, even the Super HDR in the Gallery but after a few seconds of taking the pic it changes to a blurry super bright and terrible looking photo.

What about changing the display from vivid to natural? I know it's irrelevant but maybe vivid is making it look worse than it is in contrast to natural 🤔

The camera software does need work, you should also send an error report on the support side of this app. Hopefully they'll make more software adjustments in future updates.

Do you have scene optimizer turned on or off?

Indeed...I've tried all combinations as well. I see there's hundreds of people on other forums saying the same thing. Sad to have this from a company that is charging this much for a phone that after 6 months is still problematic.
