I bought S8 in May last year. Back then I worked on some AR applications but after the OREO update this device does not support AR. I googled and found out that AR support was removed from the Indian version only.
Are you sure ? because Ar core is still supported from Google side. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core correct me if I am wrong
