WhatsApp notification issue

Dears,

Before I had same problem with S8 with the issue. Yesterday I bought a new galaxy S9 and the notification issue still there. I disable the sound, popup, and vibration setting and keep the icon badge on from the WhatsApp and mobile notification center. Once receiving a WhatsApp chat, I will get a popup and sound..is it S9 issue or WhatsApp issue. Kindly assist and help.

go to apps manager to find whatsapp click on and give all permission

i have Note 8 and im having same issue with notification icon badge. its on but still i dont receive the badge from all applications i have. this issue came after the latest update

mobile setting > apps> whatsapp> scroll down click on notification word

i believe that the issue with WhatsAppb behaviour as i heard be samsung admin
