Why the weather widget doesn't show Sun icon in day time also? I liked the yellowish sun icon which was seen when updated to Pie

Clouds . May be rainfall possible . Thats why it shows Cloud symbol.
If cleat sky appear means it shows yellowish Sun icon

It's a live weather widget..so it works according to live weather..if there will be a rainfall..then no sun..clouds- then no sun..hazy- then no sun and so on..

I think earlier even when it was cloudy, sun icon was there with clouds..

Might be partial cloudy..then you will get sun/cloud icon..

It depends upon the weather of your area. If it detects it's cloudy then it will show Cloud and if it detects its Sunny, then it'll show the Sun.

if the widget uses accuweather API than cloud will be shown at times when the conditions are partially cloud , cloud or rain . it shows sun only when there is no cloud . click the widget to get full screen weather report and check which is the weather report provider
weather forecast shows weather report of area between average 30 to average 90km area
