Galaxy S1. Open the Phone app → tap More options (⋮) → Settings → Record calls.
2. During a call, tap the Record icon to start and stop recording (a notice will inform participants).
3. You can then play the recording, view transcripts, or generate summaries from the Recents tab.
If you don’t see the option:
It may be disabled in your firmware region (e.g., XSG). Some users enable it by switching their CSC to a region like India (e.g., INS), though this requires tools like SamFW and may affect updates or warranty.
Others resolved the missing setting via a full factory reset and cache clear.
Always proceed carefully with firmware or CSC modifications, and consider consulting official service centers if unsure.
