I can't receive calls or SMS on my JIO sim after a latest update came and gave an esim feature out of nowhere. I even got the sim changed to e-sim. I don't know what to do.

It's a Snapdragon variant then. Go to service center, they'll change the CSC code for you.

I have not come across any solution as of yet but going to the service center will waste your time as they will simply say no to a device that is not meant for India

Backup data and hard reset. If you don't know how reset and setup, search it on YouTube ,"hard reset and your device model no.
