Use of dual sim and esim simultaneously

Hello,

I have a Samsung S21 Ultra with dual sim. Few days back i went and got an esim(3rd number) for my phone.when i activated the plan on the phone the 2nd sim that i already had got disconnected because the esim(3rd number) got activated.So is that we can use 1 physical sim and an esim at the same time and not the 2nd number.

So whats the point of giving an esim option that too multiple esim options.

If anyone can help me on this it will be appreciated.

At a time, you can use 1 physical and 1 esim. Or both physical sims. But you can have multiple eSIMs.

hi at a time we can use only 2 network services
even we can add multiple esim..
the purposes many as per the users intrest
