Use Samsung as WiFi repeater

I am using s9 plus , I can use this phone as a WiFi repeater. 

I also have a galaxy j1 ace which cannot be used as a repeater.

Can all of you Samsung users confirm if your phone can be used as WiFi repeater.

Just  confirm me the models .

Just check if the WIFI connection will get disconnected when the hotspot is switched on.

I have deleted WiFi name for safety reasons.

Wifi does stay on, but Tethering is used when hotspot is turn on

i have Poco F1 and it can be used as WiFi repeater with both hotspot and WiFi working at same time. but S9 doesn't have this feature
