Updates for flagship devices

Samsung should provide software updates/upgrades for flagship devices for lifetime as the Apple is providing.

Apple doesn't provide for lifetime. Only 5 years. Samsung provides 3 years after the new OEM policy.

They are giving new ios versions with little new features not the full

Iphone are **bleep** when did they promise to provide lifetime updates now iphone was having a security flaw maybe iphone 6 or 7.There are no issues till now with galaxy devices then why do you need updates samsung devices are more secure than compared to iphones.

It's not possible as apple makes both the hardware and software for the mobile devices which make them easier to offer updates for longer time but in case of Samsung phones just like any other android smartphone brand, they don't make their own software they get it from google. Then they have to modify the software according to their devices. This is possible for devices that are 1 or 2 years older but beyond that it's not possible.
