After installing UI 3.0, Android 11 update and Security Patch for Jan 2021 I have realized that there is no option for sharing files via WIFI Direct.
Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I think i made a mistake in my comment.. I think my devices shared files using nearby share..!
Here are steps I tried.
1. Connected both devices by wifi direct (this u can do in oneui 3 also)
2. Selected the files i need to share n chose the share icon..
3. I chose my other older device name that popped in to the list to share n it was done..

Try to share via Bluetooth then it's getting changed to Wi-Fi direct.

Bluetooth is much slower than Wi-Fi. Try sharing a 400MB file by Bluetooth - will take hours. With Wi-Fi will take < 1 minute. I can send a file from my Samsung phone to Samsung tablet using Wi-Fi Direct, but not in the other direction. How stupid is this? As far as I can tell, Nearby Share is just Bluetooth.

Hello, I was updated from Android 10 to 13 in several steps in Galaxy, but my Wi-Fi Direct does not transfer any files or photos at all, and does not even receive them. If you have a Galaxy Android 4.4.2 phone, you can easily transfer large files. My question is, why did this happen? Why doesn't Samsung help? Why is there only the name Wi-Fi Direct on the phone, but it doesn't work? It's really a pity that with an expensive phone, we have to use a third-party program.
