I have been researching and found out that people globally have reported that the feature which protects the OLEDS from screen burn-in is actually missing in UI 6 update.
Its confusing me and now I cant seem to decide if I should update my s22.

Need some advice!!

Don't update to UI 6. Wait till this problem get solved in next few updates.

There's no solution for BurnIn and you know better that Samsung phone's panels are very costly.

Just turn off AOD

Did you mean OTA (over the air) update? Or AOD (always on display), which has nothing to do with the installation of the update?

I meant AOD being Always On Display

So, turning always-on display off helps with a screen burn-in issue? Is that what you're implying?

You can pause the update , and also it is just downloaded automatically. You yourself install it at your convenience.

No it wont. It might download a certain package but installation depends on the user
