For those of you who have already received and had some time to experience the new One UI 7 update based on Android 15, I'd love to hear your thoughts and reviews!

What are your initial impressions? What new features are you enjoying the most? Have you noticed any improvements in performance, battery life, or the overall user experience?

Specifically, I'm curious about:

 * Favorite New Features: What's the standout feature for you in One UI 7? (e.g., enhanced AI, Now Bar, customization options, vertical app drawer, etc.)

 * Performance & Smoothness: How is the overall performance and smoothness of the UI compared to the previous version?

 * Battery Life: Have you noticed any changes in battery performance?

 * User Interface Changes: What do you think of the visual changes and layout adjustments? Any particular likes or dislikes?

 * Any Issues or Bugs: Have you encountered any bugs, glitches, or unexpected behavior since updating?

 * Overall Experience: What's your overall experience with One UI 7 so far? Are you happy with the update?

Battery life is improved i think..i am just exploring..so didnot go through everything

My initial impressions after using it for a few hours:

Pros:
1. More customization and tweaking options
2. Bigger folders
3. Smoother UI
4. Changes to Camera App
5. AI search in settings
6. Control center and swipe to access notifications from the control center

Cons:

1. Removal of transparency options from widgets. In 6.1 we were able to tune it to any level to match our style and wallpaper. Now it's either no background or slightly transparent. The analog clock has no transparency option at all.

2. The previous note app widget was top-notch and blended with the background. The new one looks like mini app icons and no transparency option for those icons

3. The digital well-being widget does not show app-wise usage like before. The new approach makes it very difficult to understand proper info.

4. I don't know if this is a specific app issue, but when I tried to add a custom widget to the lock screen using Good Lock, it didn't allow me to make it small to some extent. It now looks much bigger than required

Suggestion:
1. Please bring back the transparency options to widgets from 6.1 to 7

2. Please consider the option to add a third-party app widget to the lock screen (along with the clock)

3. When an ongoing call is minimised, it will show on the top left as a small pill. It is now shorter than before and difficult to tap. Please make it a little bigger for easy access

4. An option to replace Google Discover with some other news provider, or different news sources we like.

5. Finally something I want on every phone..!! When my parents, spouse, or kids call me, I will mostly decline it to call them back immediately. I wish a callback option immediately upon declining the call.

One more thing, the battery icon seems to be bigger than it should be. Not an issue but doesn't look good.

I hope you have noticed my previous reply here. With ref to the battery icon, please see the attached SS. The battery icon is bigger than all other icons there. It looks odd

U can customise it with Goodlock app are u aware of it

I don't know how to reduce the size of this icon. I can see the option to hide this.
