I am facing a serious issue with my Samsung S25 Ultra camera. When I use the photo mode and shift the zoom from 1× to 2× or higher, the camera becomes very slow. The transition between zoom levels lags heavily, and the viewfinder movement becomes delayed and jerky.
This problem only appears in the photo mode. When I switch to video mode, everything works smoothly. The zoom, focus, and lens transition all perform perfectly during video recording.
I have already tried:
Restarting the phone
Clearing camera app cache and data
Updating to the latest software version
Using safe mode to check third-party interference
But the issue is still there. The photo mode camera lags every time I move the zoom from 1× to 5× or beyond.
Please check this issue carefully. It affects the camera performance and user experience of a flagship device. I hope Samsung can fix this with a software update soon.
